757 Mental Health Support Network Hour

The "757 Mental Health Support Network" is a collaborative effort among Restoration Behavioral Health Services, Milestone, and Community Direct Services where we will be working together to promote effective change in how the community views mental illness, connect the community to available resources, and most of all empowering all with hope by giving them a voice.

Sunday, May 3, 2020 between 2-3 pm tune in to 104.9 FM and 1270 AM as the "757 Mental Health Support Network" discuss its' foundation, mission/vision, mental illnesses, removing the stigma associated with a mental illness and how we The Hampton Roads Community can come together via advocacy, social contact, education, promoting awareness, and empowering others to take a stand for the cause. There will be an opportunity for a Question and Answer Session during the segment.  We will also have special guest who will discuss their insight on how we as a community can work together with resources available in the community.

Giving time is much more fundamental to our well-being than just volunteering/providing

community service or just doing good deeds. It's a foundation on which we can build better communities/lives/and neighborhoods. It's a solid way to become more integrated in our community, build lasting networks, friendships, and learn to act with intention. It's a foundation to build meaningful purpose into our lives.  If you start giving your time with intention everyday, you'll find that you will start to make a real difference in not only your life, but the lives of others.

"WE DO HAVE TIME TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE."
